The Aberkenfig Neighbourhood Policing Team along with Enforcement Officer Marshall Greer has conducted a number of patrols throughout Coytrahen and Bryncethin to target the problem of dog fouling.
The issue has been identified by community members as a priority for partnership action at multiple PACT meetings in Coytrahen and Bryncethin, and patrols have focused on raising the awareness amongst locals of responsible dog walking and the requirement to use scoop bags.
Sergeant Fiona Haggerty stated “It’s important that our streets remain clean, and through partnership action we have conducted a number of awareness raising patrols, that will be ongoing in line PACT priorities.”
Slow Down Motorists and Stick To the Speed Limits
The issue of excessive vehicle speed has also been identified as a community priority in the latest Coytrahen PACT meeting, and a number of speed reduction operations have been conducted, and will be ongoing.
