Neighbourhood Police Officers in Bridgend have been clamping down on under age drinkers in the town. As part of a continuing effort to combat anti social behaviour, particularly in the Newbridge Fields area, officers have stepped up their patrols and have seized large quantities of alcohol. |

A combined operation involving the Bridgend Neighbourhood Policing Team, the police helicopter, mounted officers has been hailed as a success by South Wales Police. |

Most people who call at your home will be genuine. But sometimes, people turn up unannounced, with the intention of tricking their way into your home.They are known as ‘ distraction burglars’ or ‘ bogus callers’, whose only aim is to get into homes to distract people and steal their money or valuables.You should always be aware when someone you don’t know calls at your door. |

Safer Bridgend are working with the Celtic Crusaders to invite young people around the borough to try something positive and different called Street Rugby League.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) for Bridgend is planning the first of a series of special Drugs Awareness road shows for the Borough which will be held at Wildmill Community Centre, Bridgend. |

| Communities First tackle graffiti in Brackla | |

The Visible Unpaid Work Team recently undertook a graffiti removal exercise along a busy walkway in Brackla in response to concern from local residents. The project was managed by Communities First, working alongside community members and local agencies included in the Safer Bridgend Community Safety Partnership. |

| Police Tackle Sunnyside Problem Parking | |

Sunnyside residents are enjoying stress-free parking thanks to work done by Newcastle Neighbourhood Policing Team. After parking was named as a recurring issue in the local PACT meeting, PCSO Christian Freeth and the team worked with Sunnyside residents to identify peak times for the problem. |
