Ogmore Valley Police Shackle Youth Annoyance in Operation Chain

13 ASBO referrals were given out across the Ogmore Valley from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd May after police held a targeted operation to crackdown on youth annoyance and underage drinking.

The Family information service Annual Exhibition & Fun Day took place at the Bridgend Recreation Centre on Thursday 16th April. This year's theme was ‘Pirates’. Organisers, stand holders and many of the children dressed up as pirates to add to the fun.

New Neighbourhood Support Teams operating within South Wales Police have proved to be a great success for the Bridgend Borough, with officers from the brand new Maesteg Sector Neighbourhood Support Team making three arrests for theft, motoring, drug and burglary related offences within a matter of hours on their first team shift.
