Porthcawl carnival

Saturday 21st July was Porthcawl's annual carnival. The parade started at Sandy Bay, Porthcawl, travelled around the town and made their way to Porthcawl rugby club.

The day was a great success and everyone enjoyed with thanks to the help and hard work of the Traffic Wardens, PCSO'S, Police and members of public.

From PS Andrew Harris - '' It's always nice to get involved in local events. I was impressed to see how much hard work was put into the floats and costumes. Luckily the weather held off and it was a real enjoyable day for all involved.''

From Ceri Marlow (Event Organiser) - ''There was an excellent turn out onthe streets to see the floats which were of excellent standards; the atmosphere at the rugby club was excellent also. It's nice to see PCSO's interacting with members of public and would be nice to see the PCSO's have a float themselves next year.''
