PCSO Laura Reynolds stated “The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to work closely with the school to tackle the problem of trespassers, and senseless acts of vandalism. The pupils wanted to raise awareness amongst the local community about the problem, and they have worked hard designing leaflets, and knocking on doors.”

PCSO Laura Reynolds continues “It’s important that residents be on the look out for trespassers on the school grounds during the Easter holiday period, and that any criminal activity is reported to the police. A number of high visibility foot patrols will be conducted in the vicinity of the school during the evenings and at weekends in order to prevent any further anti social actions, and any offenders will be positively dealt with.”

Community members with any information on incidents of anti social behaviour in and around the grounds of PontycymmerNursery School, are urged to contact Bridgend Police Station on 01656 655 555, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
