The Aberkenfig Neighbourhood Policing Team has conducted a PACT led Operation called Ladon to tackle Anti Social Behaviour, resulting in 114 positive actions throughout Aberkenfig, Sarn, and Ynysawdre.

As a result of Operation Ladon 1 male person was arrested for assault, 6 ASBO Referrals were submitted, and 107 person stops were conducted.

Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Andrew Westlake, who led the operation, stated “The PACT led operation was conducted in response to community members identifying anti social behaviour as a priority for partnership action at multiple PACT meetings. The Operation included high visibility foot patrols by the Neighbourhood Policing Team who were joined by several members of the public.”
