FREE Children's Exhibition and Fun Day

The Bridgend Children's Information Service will be hosting a free exhibition and fun day for children aged 0 – 10 years and adults between 10am and 3pm on Thursday, 12 April 2007 at the Bridgend Recreation Centre, Angel Street, Bridgend.

There will be lots of FREE activities for the children throughout the day, including: Krazy Karts, bouncy castle, soft play, face painting, craft activities and much more! This year’s theme is Easter so why not come in fancy dress or wear your Easter bonnet!

For the ‘grown-ups’ there will be plenty of practical information on children’s issues. All are welcome to what is always a fun-filled and informative event.

Free information and guidance will be on offer for parents, carers and professionals on the full range of services for children within Bridgend County Borough, including information on: childminders, day nurseries, playgroups and Cylchoedd Meithrin, parent and toddler groups and Cylchoedd Ti a Fi, crèches, schools, out of school childcare/learning clubs, health, education and leisure and provision for children with special educational needs.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Services carries out approximately 6000 Home Fire Safety Checks and fit approximately 12000 smoke alarms in homes throughout the area each year.
