Blue bear and deaf rugby team manager holding rugby world cup

The annual children's exhibition and fun day hosted by the Bridgend Children's Partnership was an overwhelming success once again, with more than 2000 youngsters taking advantage of the many free activities on offer.

Krazy Karts, bouncy castle, soft play, disco dancing, face painting, craft activities and much more helped entertain the youngsters while free information and guidance was on offer for parents, carers and professionals on the full range of services for children within Bridgend County Borough.

Children participating in activities

Children's Information Officer Gaynor Griffith commented: " It was the first year that a celebrity officially opened the event and we were very pleased that Lucy Owen spent a lot of time meeting the stand holders, finding out about the day and chatting and spending time with the children and their parents.
