Brackla link sports event

Team photo with Pcsos Richard Matthews and Meurig Coleman

During the summer holidays 2008 Brackla Junior School was host to the LINK sporting event encouraging youths between the ages 8-16 to try their hand at football, basketball and other sporting activities.

As keeping youths actively engaged in positive ways over the summer holiday was a PACT priority for the area, PCSO Meurig Coleman and Richard Matthews came out of retirement for this event and then realised why they had retired.

Many thanks to Brackla Junior School for hosting the event and to Communities First for assisting in the organizing and running of the days.
