In recent weeks the Maesteg and Caerau Neighbourhood Policing Teams have been working together to reduce anti-social behaviour and underage drinking throughout their wards.

Since the start of the operation a number of young people were stopped and spoken to and a considerable amount of alcohol has been seized from under-aged youths who were drinking the alcohol openly.

PC David Barry said: “We have had a very positive start to the exercise in tackling anti-social behaviour and underage drinking throughout the area and a number of similar operations will continue throughout the coming months.”
