Based within Safer Bridgend, Jo is the dedicated point of contact for people from all minority communities, whether they work, live, visit or invest within the Bridgend County Borough.

Jo will also make contact with the victims of hate incidents and hate crime and will formulate and implement action plans to suit their needs. This will be in association with many support agencies.

Sessional Youth worker vacancies

YouthWorks, a programme managed by Groundwork Bridgend & Neath Port Talbot has acquired funds from the Big Lottery and is currently seeking to appoint suitably qualified/experienced workers due to expansion of the programme within the Bridgend area.

There has been a recent spate of dwelling burglaries in the borough where burglars are breaking into houses, taking the car keys and stealing the car and other posessions.

Home Fire Safety Checks

South Wales Fire and Rescue Services carries out approximately 6000 Home Fire Safety Checks and fit approximately 12000 smoke alarms in homes throughout the area each year.
