BAVO is the umbrella organisation supporting and promoting voluntary organisations in Bridgend County Borough, South Wales, UK. It is a membership organisation with membership open to all voluntary and community groups working or based in Bridgend County Borough. We are a registered charity managed by an executive committee elected from our membership.

The overall aim of Bridgend County Care and Repair is to enable older people and people with disabilities to remain within their own homes and within their local communities through the improvement of their housing conditions and their levels of comfort, independence and wellbeing.

Based within Safer Bridgend, Jo is the dedicated point of contact for people from all minority communities, whether they work, live, visit or invest within the Bridgend County Borough.

Tidy Towns is a two part initiative between Keep Wales Tidy and Welsh Local Authorities, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government. The project seeks to work strategically by empowering the people of Wales to take responsibility for their local environment.

Bridgend Trading standards aims to ensure that fair-trading is carried out in Bridgend County Borough so that consumers can purchase goods and services with confidence in the knowledge that they are safe, correctly priced and accurately described

People who have suffered a crime may need practical information and advice or simply someone to talk to.

Bridgend Young Offending Team is a multi-agency team, made up of representatives from Social Services, Education, the Police, Probation, Health and voluntary agencies. It currently sits within the Chief Executive's Department of Bridgend County Borough Council.

By bringing together representatives from each service, the Youth Offending Team aims to offer a holistic approach to tackling the causes of offending.

Youth Works is a national charitable partnership which exists to help 'at risk' young people play a creative role in regenerating their community and creating safer environments for everyone.
