Archbishop Mcgrath pupils take part in litter picking initiative in Tondu

Pupils from Archbishop McGrath Comprehensive School, Tondu, took part in a litter pick initiative on Monday 13th March 2006. The initiative was carried out with South Wales Police PCSO Laura Jones, and concentrated on picking litter from the school grounds, and Bryn Road.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Services carries out approximately 6000 Home Fire Safety Checks and fit approximately 12000 smoke alarms in homes throughout the area each year.
