Street Rugby on hold

Unfortunately due to the Crusaders relocation to Wrexham the Street Rugby League has had to be put on hold. Please check back for updates, it is hoped the project may continue to run in the future.

Safer Bridgend would like to thank Matt Pritchard for all his hard work and engagement with the young people of Bridgend.


Street Rugby League Success Continues

The Crusaders’ first ever Street Rugby League competition took place on Friday 30th October at the South Wales Police Grounds in Bridgend.

Street Rugby League is a joint initiative between Safer Bridgend and the Crusaders and provides youngsters with an opportunity to be coached by the Crusaders along with Police and Police Community Support Officers.

Try something positive try Street Rugby League

Safer Bridgend are working with the Celtic Crusaders to invite young people around the borough to try something positive and different called Street Rugby League.

Home Fire Safety Checks

South Wales Fire and Rescue Services carries out approximately 6000 Home Fire Safety Checks and fit approximately 12000 smoke alarms in homes throughout the area each year.
