Bridgend family information services Annual Exhibition & Fun Day took place at the Bridgend Recreation Centre on Thursday 5th April. With the exciting build up to London 2012 in mind an ‘Olympic’ theme was chosen for this year’s event. Organisers and stand holders along with many of the children dressed in their sports gear to add to the fun. |

Safer Bridgend has reported that more people are coming forward to seek help for domestic abuse at an earlier stage. This means that organisations have been able to work together at a faster rate to intervene and help people from a variety of different communities and backgrounds. |

PCSO’s Kim Harris and David Johnson attended 'A walk for Al' organised by the Garnwen Trust Charity. The Walk is now in its fifth year and attracts up to 500 people who join us for a memorable day out. |

| Caerau drugs warrant | |

The afternoon of Wednesday 8th February, a drugs warrant was executed at an address in Caerau with the involvement of MAESTEG/CAERAU Neighborhood Policing team and TST. The Operation was led by neighborhood beat manager PC Barry. The warrant was executed as a result of community led intelligence. |
